Originally founded in 1950 in Altoona, Pennsylvania, by J.G. Griebel and Mearl E. Burns as a trusted hotel and restaurant supply company and variety store.

70 years later, Mike Burns, a descendant of one of the founders, has restarted the family business. 

Based in the charming small town of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, Green Front Market has transformed into a modern online store specializing in custom engraving services.

The iconic clock that once hung in the original Green Front Market still ticks at our location in Berkeley Springs, inspiring our logo and serving as a reminder of our rich history and enduring dedication to excellence.

We proudly offer American-made products known for their fine craftsmanship and attention to detail. We use local material as often as possible, including antiques from other local businesses.
